Very heavy weight, a cast brass mortar and pestle set is hand hammered. There are handles on the mortar, plus a seal on the bottom and engraved "No. 1." Used in a pharmacy to grind medicine, this antique set dates from the mid 1800's.

The pestle is 6 1/2" long, the mortar is 4" tall and 4" across.

This can be shipped with insurance, Priority Mail within the Continental US for $20.00.
