Swedish Curly Birch & Marquetry Antique Desk

    Expertly crafted in Sweden about 1910, this desk is shimmering curly birch hardwood, with genuine inlaid marquetry in the door panels. The gleaming finish is warm and golden, enhancing the "dancing" lively wood grain.

Doors open on piano hinges, inside are hand dovetailed drawers. Gentle curves show Art Nouveau influence in this lovely antique furniture.

Size of this delightful desk is 52" long, 29" deep, 29 1/2" tall, the kneehole is 18" wide and 23 1/2" tall.
