An authentic Victorian sewing stand or needlework table is solid walnut with burl panels and a leather top. The finish is excellent on all four sides. Intended to sit next to a lady's favorite chair in the front parlor, there is a pull out drawer for knitting or other needlework below.
Drawers are hand dovetailed on this elegant but strong American furniture. Handmade about 1870, wooden wheels are original. Size of this nostalgic antique is 24" wide, 17" deep and 31 1/2" tall.
