Hand made in rural China about 1890 this country game or tea table is solid elm. The original red-brown paint is pleasantly worn, and this is very sturdy antique furniture.
Subtle hand carved details at the corners add interest, and dimensions are 38" square, 33 1/2" tall with 28" of legroom underneath.
This rather tall table is wonderful with stools or could be shortened a bit if desired, even to coffee table height.
