Beautifully worn and well used, this primitive country cobbler's or shoemaker's work bench was hand-crafted of pine in the middle 1800's. Square cut nails are visible everywhere, and there are compartments for tools and nails. With a seat at one end, legs are handcarved oak.
The finish is very fine with golden patina and lots of character - stains, mars, splits and wear. This authentic antique furniture would make a charming coffee table. Measurements are 42" long, 16" wide and 16" high.
