Maitland Smith Georgian Mahogany Writing Desk

Signed by famous American furniture maker "Maitland Smith," a charming mahogany writing desk has traditional carved claw and ball feet in Georgian Chippendale design.
The finish is superb, there are gold tooled leather panels in the top. Matched flame grain on the drawer fronts is beautiful. This is a superior quality vintage desk, very functional for computer use. Drawers have banded fronts and are finished inside, there are matching brass handles on the opposite side as well. Corner carving is masterful.
About 10 years old, size is 58" long, 32" wide, just over 30" tall and legroom is just over 23" high.
