This 1890's Victorian barbershop curio or display cabinet was made for shaving mugs. Crafted of solid walnut, the finish is excellent, and wavy glass and brass lock are original. The large door must be raised a bit to engage the latch, and this cabinet must be anchored to the wall for safety.
Inside are holes in the sides where tiny posts or screws originally supported shelves. They are missing, and could be replaced with glass or wood for a configuration that works for your collection.
Interior dimensions of this antique are 42" wide, 4 1/4" deep and 50" high. Overall size of this nostalgic American furniture is 46" wide, 7" deep and 5' tall.
