This outstanding beveled glass curio display cabinet or "vitrine" has a "bombe" design sheet music cabinet underneath. Entirely original, this lovely combination furniture is hand-painted with the famous "Vernis Martin" frosty golden finish. The burnished cast bronze mounts and gallery are exquisite, the artistic paintings of scenes with cherubs and musical motifs are subtle.

Original beveled glass in the lift-lid door is original with some scratches, there is no key for this lock. Front and side panes are curved. The finish and mounts are superb with beautiful historic patina. The lock is original and operational on the lower bombe or convex doors.

Masterfully hand crafted in France about 1895, this antique furniture is as beautiful and original as they come. Size of this elegant and serene combination display and music cabinet is 29" wide, 21" deep and 40" tall.
