Carved Oak Silver Chest or Collector's Cabinet

An exemplary silver chest or collector's cabinet was hand-carved of solid fine-grained oak about 1900. Carved details are artistic, the golden brown finish is excellent. Brasses and lift-off hinges are original.
Behind the doors, are five hand-dovetailed drawers - all finished inside. The lower drawer has a velvet lining, and removable dividers are screwed on from the bottom.
Burned into the back is a signature, "Christian Krass." Beautifully crafted antique furniture, size is 38" wide, 18" deep and 5' 1" tall.
