Richly carved with graceful curves,this vintage pair of nightstands, end or bedside tables is mahogany, expertly crafted about 1940 by "Carlton House NY." These nightstands do not have a Carlton House brass plate, but matching dressers have brass plates - see photos.
Superior workmanship is evident in the matched grain, solid oak dovetailed drawers and heavy weight brasses. The rich lustrous finish is excellent with only minor mars at the edges. Size of this entrancing American furniture is 21" wide, 17" deep and 27 1/2" tall.
