Thai Temple Wood Sculpture of Divinity on Pedestal

Sculpture carved by hand and hand painted, this depiction of Divinity in a seated position has worn painting and fine detail. There is a lingering scent of smoke from incense or temple fires.
Dimensions are 27" wide, 29" deep and 4'3" tall. This is a very peaceful statue, with a restful and graceful depiction.
Carved in Thailand, the sculpture has an ancient and worn look, but is probably fairly recent. This is a beautiful and subtle work of art.
