Traditional Dining Set, 10 Chairs, Hekman 10' Table |
This traditional mahogany dining set includes an unsigned Hekman "Copley Square" table and 10 large solid mahogany chairs, 2 with arms. The spectacular table has a vivid flame grain mahogany center, and banding of yew, ebony and satinwood.
There are only very minute flaws to the hand rubbed finish on the top and edges. Solid mahogany pedestals with brass feet support the full inch-thick top, two matching 22" leaves have matching skirts or aprons.

Oak 10' Courthouse Conference, Harvest, Dining Table |
A magnificent quarter-sawn solid oak conference or dining table has columnar legs with carved Ionic capitals. There are 2 dovetailed drawers on one side, and the lustrous deep brown finish is excellent.
Completely sound and firm, this outstanding table was finely made about 1900 for a St. Louis courthouse. Because of the long span, there is a sag in the center, see photos.
The set of 8 oak armchairs in the photo were originally used with this table, and is listed separately for $2595, more are available,

Set of 8 Oak Antique 1900's "Bankers" Armchairs |
Before the term "ergonomic" was used, these rugged chairs were created to be comfortable and supportive. Solid quarter-sawn oak from about 1900, they have sculpted seats, shaped lumbar-supporting spindles and curved backs.
Utterly solid and durable, the lustrous deep brown finish is excellent.
Antique furniture made for a St. Louis courthouse, measurements are 24" wide, 24" deep, 32" tall and seats are 18" high. More of these wonderful chairs are available, and the table shown is sold separately. (added November 19th, 2008) |

Antique Pair of Large Carved Musical Wing Chairs |
This pair of elegant and graceful wing chairs has richly carved fruitwood frames depicting musical instruments, figures, and dragons.
The golden finish is original from the 1940's with only minor touchups, and the European upholstery appears original as well. Frames are solid and strong, and spring cushions are very comfortable.
Measurements of this dazzling antique furniture are 32" wide, 33" deep, 45" tall, and the seats are 20" high. (added November 19th, 2008) |

Country French Carved Oak Cabinet |
Carved of solid fine-grained oak about 40 years ago, this one door cabinet has serene country French design. The golden finish is superb, and the door and sides have raised panels.
