First, the chairs showed up on my door step on the very day Don said they would arrive, I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed at the sight of the disassembled chairs!! That said, as promised Don sent along photos of the chairs from when he was disassembling them with written instruction on how best to put them back together. Without the instruction from Don. It is so nice to receive such quality service particularly when Don's only job was to get the chairs to me. I very much appreciate the over and above service provided by Don and Postal Express and "More" (I guess we know what the "More" stands for).

I wanted to drop you a line letting you know that the clock and urns are even more beautiful in person than in the pictures on the website.

There was a clock expert/historian/customer in the local clock repair shop who took a glance at the clock mechanism and asked the estimated age that I was given. He said the mechanism itself was last manufactured in 1867 and he and the shop owner agreed that the likely date for the clock was mid 1800's. Be that as it may the owner asked the price that I paid and he stated that that was a fair price at this point in time for the piece.


Thank you again for properly representing the condition of the clock and selling at a fair price point. We are not "antique" people and it is good to deal with a firm in this industry that doesn't try to gouge the customer. You will get our recommendation to our friends.

This was my first time I ever purchased a piece of furniture without seeing it in person. This was also my first purchase from Harp Gallery. My
initial telephone call with Elizabeth was pleasant and she conducted
herself professionally. Elizabeth was well versed with the piece. I
was still hesitant as this piece was a significant purchase. We chose
to have Rick Ships as they were highly recommended by Harp Gallery.
The piece arrived on time as originally stated. Rick Ships arrived
and their truck was too large to drive up our 500 foot steep driveway.
They without complaint walked this large piece to the door. Once
inside they unwrapped with blankets and thick plastic. They needed to
attach a mirror as well. Needless to say the piece was extraordinary.
We just love, love, love it! The staff who restored this piece are
talented professionals. It is unfortunate we are so far away.
