This marble top cabinet was hand crafted about 1900 in northern Europe as a washstand for a bowl and pitcher, and today could be repurposed as a server, bar, or vessel sink vanity.
There are small discolorations to the marble top and backsplash as shown, it has been polished and sealed to resist stains.
The mahogany base has exquisite inlaid marquetry and banding, the original finish is very well preserved. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm antique patina. Embossed brasses are original on this lovely furniture and the drawer has hand cut dovetail joints.
Dimensions are 28" wide, 19" deep, 46" tall and the top surface is 30" high.
