This grand round dining table from about 1900 is solid quarter sawn oak and has lion paw feet and four 12" wide leaves with matching skirts or aprons.
The deep lustrous finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. There are small losses on the curved and scrolled pedestal. To extend using one or two leaves, a lever under the table unlocks the tabletop and the pedestal remains together. For 3 or 4 leaves, there is a spring loaded release lever under the top that "splits" the center pedestal, be careful with fingers!
Measurements of this bold but graceful table are 54" diameter, 30 1/2" tall, legroom is 26 1/2" underneath and with all four leaves in place, length is 8' 6" overall.
