A set of four dining, game or side chairs with carved heads are from the Victorian Renaissance period about 1875.
Solid walnut frames with burl panels are strong and tight. The old finish is well preserved with some wear, losses and mars for antique character. Classic brocade upholstery is recent, there are some spots as shown.
American made furniture, porcelain wheels are original.
Three chairs measure 21" wide, 22" deep, 39" tall and seats are 17" high. The head chair is 22" wide, 26" deep, 40" tall and the seat is 16" high.
