A delicately carved cigar humidor from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1870 could be fitted as a jewelry chest.
The original ebony finish is very well preserved with subtle gold accents. Inside are zinc dividers and the lock and key still work on this exquisite American made antique, hardware is nickel.
Measurements are 16 1/2" long, 11" deep and 8" tall.
