An opulent pier or hall mirror dates from the Victorian Renaissance period about 1880.
Carved of solid walnut with burl panels, the fine old finish has warm patina. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
The original plate glass mirror has a little antique "smoke" for antique character. The base was restored on this American made foyer furniture.
Measurements are 37" wide at the crown, 8" deep and 7' 6" tall.
