This early version of the reclining chair from abut 1900 was called a "Morris" chair, and has a pull out magazine rack and footstool as well.
Authentic Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak furniture, the sturdy frame is solid quarter sawn oak with an excellent deep finish. A push button in the arm operates a mechanism to recline to about four different angles.
Zippered cushions are newly upholstered in a design of the era. This Craftsman antique when in the upright position measures 30" wide, 32" deep, 39" tall and the seat is 17" high.
