This 1880's carved oak hall bench and mirror is from the late Victorian or Eastlake period.
The original finish has a little antique "crazing" and has been preserved with a coat of varnish.
Solid fine grained oak has delicate incised hand carving. The beveled mirror has a few spots to show its age on this American made furniture. Some of the brass hooks are later additions.
Dimensions are 35" wide, 17" deep, 85" tall and the seat is 16" high.
