The original use of this 1760 era cabinet or cupboard from Europe is unknown. The hand painted finish was signed by noted Chicago designer and restorer, "H. Lanny Green," about 40 years ago.
Subtly shaded and distressed, the artwork is beautiful on this rugged antique furniture. Hand hewn of oak and pine, carved wooden pegs secure the joints. Original hinges and the amazing open working lock are hand wrought iron. Interior drawers and the case have hand cut dovetail joints.
Dimensions are 34" wide, 18" deep and 53" tall.
