Signed by famous maker, "Globe Wernicke of Cincinnati," a pair of oak four stack lawyer's bookcases both have one leaded glass door.
The quarter sawn oak has a restored finish on bold natural grain. Doors have original wavy glass on this American made antique library or office furniture. The signature label under one top survives, the other labels were lost when the back panels were replaced years ago.
One base is rebuilt, coppery hardware is original. Three upper sections accommodate books up to 8 1/2" wide and 9" tall, the bottom sections up to 10 1/2" tall.
Overall size is 34" wide, 11" deep and 58" tall.
