Said to have been made in New York, this American Empire period sideboard was hand-made about 1835 with hand-carved paw feet and columns with Ionic capitals. Gorgeous matched flame and curly grain mahogany has a gleaming finish in superb condition.
The backsplash and doors are banded with stunning figured grain. Original drawers have hand-cut dovetails and chamfered bottoms, the tray drawers in the center section interior were custom made at a much later date.
Measurements of this historic American antique furniture are 5'3" long, 25" deep and 52" tall. The surface height is 42" from the floor.
