No signature survives on this genuine Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak rocking chair from about 1905, but it is certainly comparable to Stickley quality.
Solid quarter sawn oak, the original finish is in very fine condition with warm antique patina. The strong and sturdy frame has wooden pegs at the joints and wide stretchers underneath.
A new splint seat is comfortable on this American furniture. Dimensions are 17" wide, 25" deep, 32" tall and the seat is 14" high.
