Said to be salvage from a steamship, this giant steam pressure gauge from about 1880 is signed, "American Schaeffer & Budenberg, Brooklyn, NY."
The marble dial has worn numerals, surrounded by a brass bezel. A brass valve at the bottom connects to the iron case of this heavy weight industrial antique.
Size is 15" diameter and 7 1/2" deep.
