Richly carved of solid quarter-sawn oak, a Victorian partner's writing desk or library table has 2 drawers on each side. The trestle base supports 18 spiral columns, the deep hand carving around the top is spectacular.
Drawers are hand dovetailed, and the deep rich finish is superb. This historic antique furniture recalls Renaissance design, and dates from about 1890.
Measurements are 73" wide, 37" wide, 30" tall and a knee height of 22".
