This Renaissance style hall or foyer bench has lion paw feet, and is richly hand-carved of solid walnut. The original deep finish is in very good condition with just enough wear to give an authentic antique patina. Under the seat is storage.
High relief artistic carving was done by an Italian master carver in Tuscany in the 1890's. Size of this historic furniture is 5'5" wide, 23" deep, 48" tall, and the seat is 21" high.
