Hand made in China about 1900 as a home ancestral altar table, this charmingly worn antique could be re-purposed as a hall console, tv or sofa table.
The original red lacquer is heavily rubbed, this Asian furniture has been waxed to a nice satiny polish and warm patina. Ash hardwood and pine show hand cut dovetail and mortise and tenon joints plus hand planing. Drawers have original wrought iron pulls. There are mars, stains and shrinkage separations from age for character.
