Country Pine Painted Immigrant Trunk Blanket Chest

This country pine immigrant's trunk has worn original paint on the outside and hand-cut dovetailed corners. Inside is a small compartment for valuables.
A nice window or foot-of-the-bed bench, this picturesque antique dates from the mid-1800's. There are various repairs, stains and mars. This charming chest would also make a rustic coffee table, although the back side has never been finished.
Size is 45" long, 19" deep and 19" tall.
