Demilune Hall Console Table or Server

An outstanding "demilune" or half-round hall console table may have been a server or sideboard as well. The lustrous finish is excellent.
Gracefully curving, the end drawers pivot open and have velvet bottoms. The center dovetailed drawer also has original brasses.
This beautiful demilune was made with virtuoso craftsmanship, joining mahogany and ash burl to grand effect.
Dating from the late 1920's, this is superior quality American antique furniture. Dimensions are 6' 4" wide, 22" deep, 42 1/2" tall including the backsplash, the top is 37 1/2" high.
