Eastlake Victorian Cylinder or Barrel Rolltop Desk

Carved of solid walnut about 1880, an elegant Eastlake cylinder or barrel roll top desk is in wonderful condition. This Victorian desk is accented with burl panels, and the book-matched grain on the roll is spectacular.
The warm finish is excellent, drawers have round or pin and cove dovetails of the period, and pulls are original. The interior has tiny drawers and compartments, and the pull-out writing surface is inlaid with leather.
The top is removable for delivery and the carved plaque on the gallery is exquisite. Size of this beautiful American antique furniture is 35" wide, 21" deep, 62" tall and the leather top is 31" above the floor.
