Empire 1840 Antique Flip & Swivel Console Game Table

Authentic American Empire period furniture from about 1840, wall console table has a flip and swivel top that opens into a game table. Mahogany with matched flame grain, the classical lyre shaped base is well proportioned.

There are minor mars and losses for a little character, the finish is excellent. Under the top is a space for game pieces and cards. Beautiful as a console or with the top raised against the wall, the base is finished on all sides when the top is opened.

Dimensions are 35" wide and 29" tall. The table is 17" deep when closed and 34" deep when opened.
