Empire Antique 1825 Carved Chest or Dresser

Said to be from New York, this wonderful Empire chest or dresser is figured mahogany with spiral columns and lion paw feet.
Hand-made about 1825, there are finely hand-cut dovetails on the large drawers. The rich deep finish enhances the lively flame grain. There are minor shrinkage and losses as to be expected in a piece of this age.
Stately antique furniture, size is 44" wide, 23" deep and 45" tall.
