Empire Mahogany 1840's Fliptop Game Table

A wonderful American Empire flip-top game table has clean and classical lines from about 1840. The matched flame grain is especially beautiful, and the polished finish has just enough mars to show its age.
A swivel and flip-open top reveals a storage compartment underneath. There is a small shrinkage separation on the inner top when opened, see photos.
Beautiful as a console table or with the top opened against the wall, this historic table is also lovely as a square game or serving table.
Size of this alluring antique furniture is 34" wide, 28" tall and 17" deep when closed, when opened, the top is 34" square.
