Georgian 1780 Tall Case Grandfather Clock

This authentic Georgian tall case clock has been running since about 1780, and has a beautiful case made of mahogany with inlaid banding of oak, satinwood and ebony.
The hand painted dial is original, and the brass works have been cleaned and oiled. A good runner, the 8 day movement strikes the hour.
The case has various repairs, shrinkage cracks and mars, plus crackling to the dial, as would be expected.
The finish and warm patina are outstanding. This gorgeous antique clock is truly beautiful furniture, ready to run another 200 years. Size is 22" wide, 10" deep and 7'7" tall.
