Georgian Chippendale Highboy, Tall Chest on Chest

The elegance of Georgian or Chippendale design is recreated in this solid mahogany highboy or tall chest-on-chest. Dating from about 1950, it is signed Continental. The original polished finish is in very good condition with a few mars at the edges, see photos.
Graceful legs have traditional claw and ball feet, there is subtle and delicately carved detail as well. Heavy embossed brass hardware is also original. Drawers have solid oak dovetailed sides.
Measurements of this classic American vintage furniture are 38" wide, 22" deep, and 6'9" tall to the top of the finial.
