Irish Chippendale Antique Carved Chair

One of the finest Chippendale style chairs we have seen, this solid mahogany work of art was said to be from Ireland. The detailed paw feet are spectacular on this large and very comfortable furniture. The curved and shaped back is both graceful and cozy.
There is slight wear and a few mars on the original finish from the late 1800's. This chair is strong and usable but the back has a little flexion where it joins the seat - it could be glued at the next reupholstering.
Measurements of this historic and imposing antique are 24" wide, 25" deep, 40" tall and the seat is 19" high.
