Kittinger Country French Tall Chest

An outstanding tall chest of drawers or chifferobe is signed by one of America's finest cabinetmakers, "Kittinger of Buffalo, NY."
Crafted of solid walnut with raised panel sides and original brasses, the warm brown finish is excellent. Drawers are dovetailed, and the drop front opens to a removable shelf inside.
There is a shrinkage separation to one panel on the right side, and a small repair to the molding on the left side - see photos. The interior is finished, and a brass Kittinger plate is inside a drawer plus another label on the back.
This is vintage furniture with ample storage and graceful lines, size is 3' wide, 20" deep and 54 1/2" tall.
