A traditional lawyer's bookcase has four sections with glass doors, and a drawer in the base - it dates from about 1900.
The original finish on quarter-sawn oak is remarkably fine, brass hardware and wavy glass are also original. Base with carved claw feet and top are separate pieces as well, this American furniture disassembles and folds almost flat.
Size of this American antique is 34" wide, 13" deep and 5'3" tall. The two upper sections hold books up to 10" deep and 9" tall, the two lower sections up to 10" deep and 11" tall.
