This classic Georgian design breakfront china cabinet or bookcase has a pull-out desk with gold tooled leather.
The glowing mahogany has matched flame grain, and the finish is in excellent condition. Lavish brass pulls are original. Doors have slightly convex glass panes, shelves inside are grooved for displaying plates on one side, flat on the other side for books. There are minute mars at the edges. In a drawer is the maker's signature, "Frederick Tilkenham of Ipswich," England.
Impeccable vintage furniture from about 1940, the upper section is separate for moving. Size is 6'2" wide, 18" deep and 7' tall.
