Marble Top French Antique Chest, Dresser or Commode

An exquisite hand-made mahogany chest of drawers, small dresser or commode has a shaped marble top. Hand crafted in France about 1870, this brilliant antique is all original. The marble is beautifully figured and in excellent condition, the original finish is very fine.
Heavy weight brasses are original and complete, there is also inlaid brass molding around the drawers.
Sides and drawer fronts are curved, the front is banded and inlaid with subtle patterns in mahogany. Solid oak drawer sides have hand-cut dovetail joinery.
Dimensions of this elegant furniture are 33" wide, 17" deep and 36" tall.
