Maurice Villency Marquetry Writing or Console Table

Signed by famed New York City designer, "Maurice Villency," this elegant writing or console table has exquisite marquetry and banding, and the original polished finish is superb. Three drawers are finished inside and have visible dovetailed joinery.

All four sides have beautifully figured mahogany accented with quarter matched elm burl, rosewood and ebony. On the right end is an inlaid "S" insignia.

This table is about 10 years old, measurements are 39 1/2" long, 20" deep, 31" tall, legroom is 25 1/2" underneath.
