Hand stitched in woolin the mid 1800's, a classical tapestry depicts a couple strolling in a garden with a house in the background. The needlepoint scene includes faces and hands in even tinier petite point.

This antique work of art was apparently reduced in size, several sections are restitched together and there are restorations, see photos. Hanging loops are mounted on a rod to display this handicraft textile from France or Belgium.

Size is 4' wide and 5' 6" tall.
