Pair Chinese Temple Carving Architectural Fragments
A pair of carved panels are architectural salvage from a Chinese temple or shrine. Dating from around 1900, the three dimensional hand carved figures have a red painted base coat, with gold overlay.
The gilding is worn and edges of the panels are unfinished where they fitted into structural frames. Each of these historic antique carvings is 25" long, 6" wide and 1 1/2" deep.
