The Spanish Colonial period inspired this pair of carved throne or hall chairs. The leather is embossed with heraldic lion and castle motifs.
With carved clawfeet and rich historic details these Spanish chairs date from about 1940. They were once used at the ends of a large dining table. The frames are completely solid, and there is just enough wear on the finish and leather to give a little "character" to this vintage furniture pair of arm chairs. Size is 28" wide, 26" deep and 50" tall.
