This classic Renaissance design writing desk was carved for famous American furniture house, "Colby." Masterful hand carving includes faces and scrollwork, this desk has a Henry VIII or Tudor look.

Drawers have hand-cut dovetails. Crafted of fine-grained oak about 1910, this substantial antique has a gleaming rich brown finish in excellent condition.

Well proportioned furniture, all sides are carved or paneled. Size is 5' 6" long, 33" wide, 31" tall with a kneehole 27" wide and just over 24" high.
