Traditional Georgian lines define this round banded mahogany dining table with one leaf and a carved lyre base. The center and banding are burled, and the finish is excellent. Sturdy vintage furniture from about 1940, the original leaf fits and matches perfectly. The graceful legs terminate with brass feet and wheels. This would be a marvelous hall center table, expandable for a buffet or dinner parties. There are minor mars at the edges, see photos. Dimensions are 52" diameter, 29 1/2" tall with 26" of legroom. The 16" leaf has an apron or skirt, and total length is 5'8."
