A very comfortable Victorian swivel desk chair dates from about 1900. Solid quarter-sawn oak with ergonomic curved back spindles, this American antique furniture has a warm golden brown finish in very good condition.
The original iron mechanism has adjustable height and tilt. Very solid and stable, there is some wiggle to the iron shaft when raised, but it will last another 100 years. Stains around the seat and back are from tacks holding upholstered pads, long gone. The cane seat is flexible and in excellent condition as well.
Originally used with a roll-top desk, size is 24" wide, 25" deep, 36" tall and the seat is 18" high.
