Genuine gold leaf and "Vernis Martin" paintings with the famous French frosty gold finish are remarkable on this sheet music cabinet. The original paintings include musical motifs.

Hand-made about 1895, the front legs are reeded, there is detailed molding in classical style. This antique has lots of character and patina to the original finish - there is wear, a lost bit of molding and shrinkage separations on the left side, and touchups, especially to the top painting - see photos.

The interior shelves have a mahogany finish. Size of this luxurious music room furniture is 22" wide, 14" deep and 38" tall.
