Made for a Victorian baker or pastry chef about 1885, this solid walnut worktable has a dropleaf at the rear. Large utensil drawers have what appears to be original milk glass bin pulls. The finish is excellent with warm patina and lots of character, mars and wear, especially on the legs.
Rugged country furniture, there is legroom to sit at the rear dropleaf side. The figured walnut is beautiful, one top board is 15" wide.
Measurements of this nostalgic American antique are 42 1/2" wide, 28 1/2" tall, 24" deep with the dropleaf down, raised depth is 34" total.
